Having a house or an apartment of your own in these times is not easy, especially if you do not have a job or a bank account that will leave you a lot of profits and the fact that housing prices are quite high.
All this was well known to Joel Weber, a young student at the University of Texas who was not willing to let his financial situation frustrate his plans to own a home. He made his home from scratch on a 14-square-meter site.
Joel built his mobile home
Weber didn’t want to keep paying for a small dorm room, so he made the decision to have his own home. He bought a small trailer, it took him about a year to remodel it, and more than $ 15,000 to make it his home.
His property is very small, but cozy
The trailer looks extremely small, measuring only 14 square meters, and it seems that nothing can fit in it, but in reality, it is very spacious: it has a living room, dining room, a bathroom, and the master bedroom.
The bedroom is at the top
Joel adjusted the bedroom in the upper part by means of a piece of furniture that doubles as a desk; so you can access the part of the bed.
The kitchen is very functional
Although it is quite small, the kitchen is very cute and cozy: it has a four-burner stove with an oven, a dishwasher, and a cabinet in which you keep all your grocery purchases.
The bathroom looks luxurious
The bathroom has a sink, a shower, and also a toilet bowl, as any normal home would.
You can take it wherever you want!
The best thing about Joel’s house is that he can take it with him wherever he goes, so it’s perfect if you don’t want to leave your cozy room when you have to go on a trip. Definitely, if creativity exists, it is possible to create great things.
